No pics but if I get around to it, I will try and post a vid. I read and searched all about them and what is said about them is pretty much true... You can notice a difference once first started and once rev'ed to about 3000 rpm. Also if you step on the gas to try and make a pass or something like that. Driving normally, you won't hear anything. Cheap mod under $150 for part and install so I think it's worth it.

Just got it installed and I like it! Only thing is sometimes I hear slight sputtering when I step on the gas pedal slowly. Is that normal?

To those people who installed this do you guys have an occasional light sputtering sound (putt-putt-putt sound) when you gently step on the gas while it is on low rpm but dissapears after. One thing for sure I like the deep and crackling sound and the additional pull I get between 2000-4500 rpm and noticed fuel economy improved a little bit.

Most of the people on this thread used the magnaflow x-pipe but you can also get a shop to fabricate one for you. It will all depend on the cost between a custom made one (and if they will do it right) to the tested pre-made magnaflow x-pipe.

Just a tip if anybody wants to buy an xpipe.
Go to http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...d=350580079767 , and make an offer for 82 bucks, and he'll more than likely accept. I messaged the seller directly, and this is the price he gave me. Was price shopping for about two weeks, and that's the lowest you'll find!

On my list...
Thinking about it...but other then great sound does it improve anything else like drive, acceleration, HP, also does this void any warranty coverage...???
Thanks everyone.
Keep posting the vids really helps with making these tough decisions...

I don't think it effects acceleration or HP but I think it makes the drive a little more fun when you hear the exhaust. From what I know this does not affect any warranties

What does the X-pipe replace? cats? somebody else asked the question, but i didn't read a response, "did anyone try to delete mufflers or install magnaflow mufflers and is it any better?"
I guess i'm curious if it replaces anything, because if it does (Cat's) wouldn't it be better to go with Test-Pipes?

I have been on the fence with this mod for a while, but decided that a carefully engineered part is worth more in the long run than a generic stamped one (this and the risk of possibly getting bad welds and leaks that goes undetected).
I can assure you that if this aftermarket "X-pipe" came with the car stock, the very same people who modded to an X-pipe would seek to do the reverse as another excuse to "modify" claiming to seek more refinement. Modding is a sickness that I am very familiar with (especially during my younger days). A lot of times people will mod simply for the sake of modding.
Example:
If the cars' trim came all "blacked out", people would seek to make it chromed for a "more refined look"...or if the car came with 6000k headlights stock, people would mod it 4300k for "better light output". Unfortunately I am still infected with the modding bug, but I now look at it with a slightly different perspective.
