X-pipe installed!!!

I just installed my xpipe and i must say it sounds great! The videos don't do this mod any justice. Must hear live to get the true effect. For anyone still debating on the xpipe mod, i'd say get it done asap! I have a 6 speed manual so it sounds extra nice!X-pipe installed!!!-imag0054.jpg

70 for labor that is very cheap. I paid about 125 for mine to be done and also you have a 6spd nice i think you and me are the only two in Jersey that has a 6spd.

Now I wonder how it would sound with high flow cats in place of the second set of cats?

Yes sir... I went to a family owned muffler shop who's been in business for 25+ years. When they saw the x-pipe they already knew what to do and they only charged me $45

I got my magnaflow x-pipe from Amazon for $83 with free shipping but some members got theirs for $67 from some other site

yup... you can have a muffler shop custom build you one but it'll end up costing more

Magnaflow x-pipe is the one that is widely used... It comes in different inlet sizes make sure to get the 2.25 one

I just watched this for the first time....great video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_xBQZVKw50

I wonder what the sound is while driving normally. I have a Z06 which is loud and kind of enjoy the C300 on the streets and freeway that its quite. I am thinking I would like for a little growl to it when I punch it. But how loud does it get on surface streets under normal driving cinditions and driving on the freeway 65-75mph?

Still wondering at freeway speeds and driving around town what the sound is like...but here is another good comparison video, both inside and out.

You can barely hear a difference at normal driving.

does installing the xpipe replace anything? I just called for a labor quote and he asked if I was going to put it in place of something else (I forgot what he called it). He said they normally charge $125 for an x pipe. Wondering if that's going to be the going rate in L.A.

X pipe mod is the simplest and one of the cheapest mods out there and it really does make a huuge difference IMHO
