Quick vid. You can't really see the "red," because of the crappy video quality. So, I'll try and take some shots tomorrow with a DSLR.
Overall, I am very happy with the purchase Thumbs up to AZN.

Hey Mike if you wanted to workout a new time I'm probably going to be free sometime on Monday night if that's possible. If not, sometime later in the week works as well. Sorry about yesterday. Some family matters came up that I had to tend to. :/

As mentioned in the other thread, I also placed an order last Monday for the red rear LED turn signals. It actually got to me in Ohio on Thursday, so I got some joy ahead of the weekend!
I noticed that the LEDs gave off a little more pinkish hue than the OEM brake lights. Would putting LEDs for the brake lights result in the same color? Just curious. I'm very happy with my purchase either way.

Looks awesome, thanks for the video. I was always going to order the reverse LED, but on the fence about the turn signals. Definitely ordering both now. Anyone have pictures/video of amber LED installed?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see your sold out of the reverse LED in white... Darn, lol. But I guess it doesn't matter as you don't bundle shipping right?

Yeah, I just got cleaned out on my 1156 in whites. Everyone ordering for reverse and brake lights. Don't worry, we're manufacturing a new and larger batch this time around. First iteration was a smaller batch to test the market to see what colors sell better than other so we can work out our ratios. Should be available in a couple weeks.

I'll be installing these on a test vehicle tonight and doing a video of red and white tail lights so wait till I post it to see what you think.

Pre-drilled dustcap for what? The HID low beam/fog lights? I don't think that'd sell well as all you need is a drill which would be much cheaper than me buying a bunch of caps, and drilling them myself.

Thanks Snarlingchicken for coming out and letting me take pics and video of stock colored tail lights with my LED tail lights.
I'm going to have to recommend to you guys with stock tail lights to go with my Red LED tail lights. Those with tinted tails, go for my white LEDs. With the Red LEDs, you'll get a cleaner more pure red tail light without sacrificing brightness. With the white in stock tail lights, the LEDs are so bright that it slightly washes out the housing tint so it comes out pale red. The white LEDs will work great for tinted tails though.
And it's night and day difference between stock reverse light and LED reverse light. That's one area no one really realizes or appreciates, but once you do a side by side, you'll be like crap stock reverse bulbs suck! lol

Do you still plan to create P1 and P2 tail lamp LED conversion packages? I checked your site and did not see those show up yet. I'm P1 and would look for red LEDs based on your above comment and amber turn signals. Thanks!

And back on topic! As he has said above, the red LEDs look significantly better on stock tail lights while the white LEDs look significantly brighter.
On the note of reverse lights, Michael's right! Night and day difference between stock and LED. (I wanted to get a pair of these but apparently the pair I test fit was already spoken for >_>).
Great service, great guy, and some great potential on his VW for future mods to come! (But that's an entirely different story) Haha.

yeah, I was waiting for this test on unaugmented tails before knowing how best to put together a package. Mine are tinted and I suspected might skew the results a bit. I should have something up tomorrow, but as Snarlingchicken mentioned, I won't have my reverse lights in yet (1156 whites) for a couple weeks. This initial batch was to test the water before I open the gates for full production on these.

Mike - would you be able to direct me as to what I should purchase? I am getting work done on my car and would like to have these installed during the same job.
I am going for a bright pure white look, which I believe is 5000K.
1.) How hard is it to get the 7 strip DRL's and put them on a 2008 C300? Where can I find the appropriate black mesh material behind the 7 strip DRL's?
2.) I would like to change my side markers, eyelids and headlamps. When I get the DRL's done too that is essentially every single light on the front of the car. Correct?
3.) I would like the rear license plate lights done as well.

1. The 7 strip LED can be mounted any number of ways depending on how you want it to sit. It comes with a bracket attached that can swivel for customized install points. You can install it under the bumper or screw it into a custom grille and do a fog delete. There are black metal pliable grille material that can be bought at hardware store or you can get an OEM center mesh grille and cut it in half and fit it in the recessed part. Lots of ways you can make it work. Or you can just leave the stock setup and just drill/double side tape to the bottom of the bumper area by the fogs and leave your fogs alone. Tap the triggering to either the fogs or the sidemarkers and draw power from the battery.
2&3. Sidemarkers, eyelids, and rear plates are all 194 LEDs. 5000K if you want to stay pure white. Headlamps you'll want to go with H7 HIDs which I don't have available right now, but will by end of the month/beginning of next.

yeah, we recorded it yesterday. I'll post it tonight, but don't know how well it came out. From the little screen (Flip HD), it was hard to tell the color difference, but we'll see.
