So I guess double-check the polarity.

Unfortunately I don't but given it's flashing, it's likely reversed. I did the same thing at first.

if the polarity is reversed, the capacitor will pop.

Where is your power source?

The power source is the same as it was for the old fog lights.
Maybe i have mixed what +/- on the connector to the ned led lamps.
Have mesure what + and - from my source with a voltmeter, so iam sure about that. The only i know is that the connector was marked with 1 and 2. But i dont know what + and - there

The primary reason for the capacitor is related to the built-in regulator that is in each of the LED housings. Without it, the regulator does not start properly due to the line based inductance (typically causing a DC/DC converter to go unstable - which is the case here). To counter-act this (negate the inductance into the DC/DC) you need to add a "large" capacitance to the input. The 150uf @25V is one that was on hand, and ended up working. I would suspect that any capacitance (preferably electrolytic) about 47uf or up should work fine given that the DC/DC convert does startup for a short time without it.

Chrome pieces I ordered separately and now can't seem to find the part #s.

Basically you need 4 things per side:
The LED light, the back plastic housing, the front plastic grill and the chrome finishing trim. With that, you will also need the small piece that connects into the back of the LED light but if you have your service department bring it up on screen, it's pretty obvious what parts you'll need.

Hope that helps a little.

Hey can you also give me the number for the front plastic grill?

Sorry, don't have the part #s for those but if you go to your dealer, they can pull it up on screen and very obvious which parts they are.
