Hi Vic,
Do you have part numbers from the covers behind?? And do you need some other cables to?? Because than you change you fog's to DRL.

Havnt looked into the electical part yet, but I wont change the light setup software as I plan to use these DRL as fogs (always lit), so I basicly tap into the old fog lamp feed.
Unfortunately I dont have the part numbers for the covers, dont understand why they arnt viewable in EPC yet when the lights are

want! when they are out, I would love to get a pair. How sure are we that they are going to fit the existing bumper. Looks like the LED strip goes into the bumper design wise

price for lights
the price for the lights is $ $184.50 each at getmercedesaparts.com
just entered the part numbers and they came up in their system.
i have used them before, the parts are shipped directly from a dealer in anapolis and are genuine mercedes parts of course... shipping was reasonable on my small order of c63 brackets and replacement grill star

Did you see any pictures of the C63? I wonder if these are being updated with the new LED lights as well? If so, I would imagine these would be higher up on the bumper like the new E63.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I am with Orie. I don't like them either. Maybe if the would have been a part of the original design or if they were integrated a little better, they would be okay. To me they look like weird aftermarket lights.

No fogs
If the LEDs have two levels of brightness, it would be because the daytime setting would be too bright after dark. Same idea as the MM screen.

I don't either.
The problem is that the dark area behind it was designed large enough to accomodate a round light stuck in the middle of it, not a long skinny light mounted horizontally.
They could have done better by putting a hockey stick shaped strip with the tips to the outside in that area jogged down slightly.

....or better yet wait for a redesign of the front bumper where the LEDs don't look so out of place.
Wonder how they're going to do it on the AMG 63 version. That bumper with the round slot for the fog lamp isn't large enough on the earlier model to hold that LED strip.
