C250 Sunroof Gasket Replacement
I've had to clean up water behind the passenger's seat a couple of times over the last few years as a result of clogged sun roof drains. Cleaning the drains solves the problem for a while then a few months later after one of our local afternoon thunderstorms the water is back again. My thoughts are that if the sun roof is fully closed and flush with roof then no water should be passing from the outside of the car to the inside. If this is happening then the real problem is the sun roof gasket not forming a good seal. There is no damage to the gasket but this car has been a Florida car all its life (2013 C250) and the sun has probably shrunk or hardened the gasket. Anybody replaced the sun roof gasket? I've been unable to find any write-ups or videos.

Hi,
Before replacing the gasket has as an idea run water down the sunroof drains see how they perform incase one is still blocked, the polish the aperture in the roof where the seal contacts clean the seal with soapy water then once dry try some sort of silicon grease or vaseline on the seal to lubricate it and help its sealing.

sunroofs are never fully sealed thats why they have drains, double check the drains, open the roof all the way back and use a water bottle and pour water in the sun roof gutter, it should flow out fast if not its clogged, pure liquid draino in it, not the harsh one then retry the water, repeat until unclogged...
