2012 C-Class Coupes and Sedans Hit the US Streets

Check out today's homepage article previewing the 2012 C-Class. Which do you think will sell better? The coupes or the sedans?

MBUSA C Class Product Manager in Automotive News said he expects coupe to be 10% of C Class volume.

2002 CLK 320 coupe, Black
Anyone have past sales figures for the C class? Just curious to know the volume. I'm coming from the CLK line and having a difficult time deciding on the C-coupe or E-coupe. In my opinion, the C-coupe is much nicer looking (though not as large as I'd prefer).

Looking at a Coupe last week, I see that the rear knee room is about six inches. So, it's a 2+2.

Not a huge fan of how much like the 3-series BMW these are beginning to look.

Anyone have a link to dashboard/interior photos?

I'm surprised they didn't make the 6.3 a 5.5 turbo like on the other "6.3"'s this year. I'm so in love with the c63... I'd practically kill for a wagon over here but MBZ gave us the fugly GLK plastique-mobile instead, with all the fuel-efficiency-robbing aerodynamics of a cinderblock. Bravo.

We were in a similar position. The C is just a tad smaller than we wanted while the E was too large. We went with the C. It actually drove better than the E and it turned out the E was just too large for my wife wheel around. She'll be the primary driver.

A few months ago I would have bought the E for myself but the C is my choice now. It's really not that small.

2019 E300, 2018 GLE43, 2009 E350 Sport, 2002 Viggen cabrio,
Not in the market for a smaller benz but I believe this is a segment of the market that will grow. Two of my co workers bought the E series coupes and one of my workers ordered the E-350 C when it was announced last year. I think the C coupes will provide the sportiness those whose children move out will now desire when the need for a family sedan ends.
