The original amg grille will not fit at a non amg car as it is two piece one. You need a replica and those can be found at eBay.

Don't know if the coupe grille will fit or not. However the single bar amg grills are out. Got mine in gloss black from taobao in China. Seen them on ebay too for approx 175 usd. Fitment is pretty much OEM and the grille is super easy to install, took me 30 secs to take off once I knew how to do it.

blue00r6: That grille has the 2008-2011 fish-scale mesh pattern (matches the lower bumper mesh).
The one that J_ has features the 2012 wide diamond mesh pattern.

I'm sitting the fence on this grill for my car, as I have a silver car, but I would like to do something different to the front of my car.
I'm afraid the gap between the top of the the aftermarket grill and the hood would look very noticable on a light colored car.


Haven't seen one on a silver or white car yet.

ya the gap is about the size of my pinky. Even in my OEM grille it's the same, pretty noticeable for a benz... Are the north american models not like this? I don't know why the gap's so big on OEM here

Could we swap the regular star with the OEM distronic star?

no clue how the distronic star fits but this one is held on by 3 really cheap clips which are glued in place. Mine was only glued on the top and was kinda loose so I had to super glue the bottom 2 and now it's super tight.
