Its probably nothing. They probably spilled some oil from extracting the old oil, filling the car with new oil, or changing the filter. With the c-class, oil changes are done entirely from the hood of the car so there are plenty of opportunities for tiny spills/sprays/drips. Just wipe it off and inspect other areas to make sure they're clean. If its just the engine covers then you have nothing to worry about.
If it wasn't there when you got it back from the shop, you might want to check the seals on the oil cap or filter cap. If the oil is coming from under the engine covers, you might want to take a look as soon as possible. Last edited by Domm; 04-17-2012 at 03:44 AM. |
