Painted C250 Engine Cover
Hello Everyone!
I finally got a change to "paint" my C250's engine cover with plasti dip. So far it's been on for 2 weeks and it's holding up perfectly. I'm posting some pics of it but be warned I did a sketchy job this time as a test run. So there are some rough edges on the pictures, there are also some dirt smears from my hands when installing it.
I do plan on cleaning it up a little bit more as well as maybe one more ascent color like red or blue in a small area. But overall very happy with it and how it matches my black and white theme.
"Sideways" to see it straight down:

Looks good. Do you have any close-up pics of the plasti-dip on the lower fascia? I'm thinking of vinyl wrapping t, but may go with plasti-dip if it is just as easy. Any tips?

Technically yes. But, I would say DON'T because that would require sanding and a lot more prep work. I would say the only reasonable options are plasti dip, vinyl, or professionally painted. I mean its your car so it's your choice but I think the risk and prep work is too high.
