Window Tint

Okay, I can see that. You're right-- without any tint on the windshield, the work does look incomplete. I'm pretty sure my shop refuses to do front windshield, so I may have to look around.
To answer your question that you left open to everyone, I was worried about my 18% looking cheap at first. The next option darker was 5%... I personally think that anything darker than 18%-20% looks cheap and too drug-dealer-esque. I mean, I hate people staring at me through my car and I love my privacy, but with 5% tint, what are you -really- trying to hide? I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks...

Wow, that is really light for 18%. Usually 20% you cant see though the window, and i can clearly see through your 18%..must be the brand. But looks good. Glad you didnt go with 35%, its pretty much transparent. I just received my 20% precut tint the other day. Cant wait for the weather to warm up to install them.

Nice. I ended up going 18% all-around. My place uses Suntek, so my options were 25% or 18%. When I picked up my car, it was dark out and I sorta regretted my decision wishing I went with 25%. But after seeing the tints in the sunlight and driving around for a few days, I think 18% is absolutely perfect.
As for the front windshield, I don't think I'm gonna tint that. 50% would look nice, but I'm not sure I need another reason to be pulled over. We'll see.
Here are some pics of Suntek 18% in the dark and daylight:

H darker with 18 you should not see the interior in those day pics with 20 or darker

Mine are definitely 18%. I had 35% on my old car, and these are significantly darker. I took these pictures with my iPhone right under the sun on my parking garage's rooftop, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Anyway, I'm going back in a week or so to tint the front windshield 50%.

Just an update. I decided to redo my tint and go darker.(I had 20% all around before) I now have 5% all around(exception of windshield) and 50% on the entire windshield. Looks more classy now. If I didn't have a black car, I wouldn't have done this dark.
This is also a bump to see what everyone else has on their beloved w204! As there are new people joining every day.

Does anybody have day/night pics of 35 or 40 percent? (preferably on an iridium silver Benz)
Live in a suburb of Chicago where they'll pull you over for anything, just want an aggressive look at night, my interior's black.
Has anyone looked in to the factory tint of the car?

Hi guys, I had 20s all around on my w203. With my w204 I went with 35% all around and 5% on the rear windshield. I think this does that job and keeps it classy.

Does anyone think 5% all around makes a black w204 classy? I just washed my car, and it looks pretty classy. I always thought 5% tint would look cheap and have that "drug dealer" physique but in reality, since there is chrome around the window frame, it looks real classy.
Also, does anyone have 35% tint on the whole windshield?

In Florida, tint is a must so I have 35% on the door windows and 20% on rear window with a 5% strip on front. It looks really good, but you can definitely see in and not just a shadow. I do have grey seats with black dash and doors. As in my sig, I went with this so not to get messed with by cops. I do drive like I stole it.
I had 15% all round on my Honda and always got pulled over, however I had 20% on my Audi and never got pulled over.
