Wheel balancing
Just a heads up to those who are putting new tires on upgraded wheels: make sure the shop you use mounts/balances tires with a Hunter Road Force machine. It will eliminate and potential vibration issues and is well worth making the extra effort.

Why do you say this? Bad experience? I just had my tires balanced and there was a significant improvement, however, I still have some minor vibrations at higher speeds. I'm not sure what machine they used.
I'm new to Mercedes, is it something specific about these cars?

Always find a shop with a hunter road force balancer to balance new tires/wheels.

I believe most dealers in the US will have a road force balancer. I've only run into 1 german car dealership that did not have one, out of dozens of dealers I've visited.
The link Sportstick posted is a good reference. There are some shops that have one but is not listed in that link but it's not too common. (I've found one small shop locally that has a hunter road force balancer but is not listed on that link).
