I have LEDs 8000k for eyebrows and side markers all from AZN optics. After the first month, 3 of the eyebrows LEDs changed color to purple. One of them is still bright white. AZN Optics took care of replacement for me. The good LED on eyebrow is still doing great now, about 3 month since I put it on. Perhaps I pushed them in to far they got too hot and burned.

Isn't longevity one of the main benefits of switching to LEDS (aside from color)? Looks like everyone is having really bad results using LEDS so I'll probably try the Polarg bulbs (or similar).

I second this. For me I feel it could be my fault for pushing the LEDs to far in against the instruction. The fact that some of the LEDs are still doing great after a few months gives me hope that they could last for a long time (maybe they weren't pushed so far in the sockets ). I will keep going at LEDs for sure.

Couldn't agree more

Just place another bulk order from Aznoptic,
5000k D1s
And a couple set of v4 gel led festoon etc.
Note: Most of them were replacement
His product just keep on improving and to my surprise he actually had a lot unrelease toy for us w204 owners
Mike is very helpful and guide me throughout the deal

So excited waiting for my parcel

Have you tried feeding it something else? Mine eats up oil. It's a lot cheaper

Mine just killed 2 eye brow leds. If another goes out I am just gunna throw resistors in all the sockets... not a huge loss since they look retarded and are pointless.

I'm working on swapping my eyebrows entirely and wiring in 10x .5W LEDs so they draw the right current. That's going to be a total of 20 per side and won't require resistors. If it works out right I'll have a how to for matching bright eyebrows. They'd definitely work as DRLs too.

Update #3: Mike contacted me about this thread and my inconsistencies with the V4 LEDs. I just gotta say, top notch customer service from Mike and AZN optics. Anyways, he sent me replacement V3's since they have been known to be more robust, and have been very successful with W204's. I installed them on my inner eyebrows and they worked flawlessly. I haven't installed V3's in the outer set yet because I still love the brightness and kelvin of the V4's which have been working well for the outer eyebrows. I'm not sure if the V3's just have a different color tone, or Mike sent me lower kelvin LED's, but the V3's match my Diamond vision low beams really well, while the V4's are brighter, and bluer with more contrast. Either V4 or V3 would look really good, just depends on taste, but I think I might have liked the contrast of V4 a tiny bit more. As of right now I only swapped out the inner eyebrows for the V3's and I really like it. The inner V3 matches my diamond visions, while the outer V4 gives some contrast. I'll sit with this set up for a few more days and switch out the outer to V3 also.

Here are pictures of my before and after set ups...still kinda scared to remove outer V4 and then have them non functional afterwards, I love them...its addicting.

Overall, I'm really impressed with Mike's customer service and support. I like the V3's and will probably order a set if I feel like replacing my license plate bulbs. The V3's seem to be 100% functional.

@Robpwnz: That looks great! One thing I learn is that make sure you monitor the brightness of the outer V4 frequently. When mine burned, it started going more to very blue and purple color.

What's the cost on these V3s? My ebay ones haven't failed in a year but they don't match my OEM xenon. I was going to upgrade my DS1 to a 6000k to match the LED's but I'm thinking if it'll cost me $40 to get 2 sets of the V3 I might as well just replace the DS1 instead. Which will be about $70.

I believe AZN optics is a sponsor on MBworld, but without linking to the actual site, they are $19 for a set of two bulbs.

They have 5000K and 8000K for either V3 or V4...maybe I have 8000k V4's and I may have gotten 5000K V3's. I like them both and I'm happy with either, but for me the V4's don't work well in the inner eyebrow.

Ok thanks for the info. Maybe I will go for the xenon upgrade instead. It's not much more than buying 2 sets of v3s.
