I wouldn't have thought it normal for any car to burn oil at that rate especially a C200K. My oil just gets changed at the specified regular intervals and there is nothing in the reports about low oil levels.

My dealer used 5W 40. Don't know which brand but Mobil would be my guess.

I've seen worse, did an oil change on some local benz members CGi engines and they burned anywhere from 1-2ltrs of oil. I don't remember but does the oil get cycled in through the supercharger? If so then too thin of an oil might be part of the reason why it's burning off. MB here in Hong Kong recommends Shell Ultra 5w40.

Check that the oil has specification MB 229.5

With your consumption the 40 grade might help as Knightmare says..

My 200k is about the same oil consumption 1l per 5000km not what you would call ideal but acceptable, 5-40 Penrite oil.
The supercharger oil system is self-contained and does not use the engines oil.

Hello Mohamed.

Engines will generally use more oil if they have high mileage.

How many miles have you done?

Have you always serviced your air-cleaner & changed oil at the correct interval ? Dust ingress is a large factor in wearing out rings & bores.

What oil do you use ? MB specification 229.5 ?

I run mobil 1 0w40.

I topped off maybe 250ml after 10,000km.

Just some food for thought.
