Ride Comfort 2014 vs 2013 C300 Sport

Hey guys. I own a CPO 2013 C300 Sport with 17K miles and while it was at the dealer they gave me the same exact car, but a 2014 with 3K miles. the 2014 steering felt tighter, the interior noise was quieter and seemed to absorb the bumps better. overall handling was quite similar.

So my question is, is this due to just the fact that mine is "broken in" or were there refinements in the 2014 that I'm unaware of, that are lacking in the 2013?

I'm pretty sure it's because the 2014's suspension is almost brand new...

Thanks. Just seems odd to feel a noticeable difference at just 17K miles.
