Jaymzz' 2013 C300 4matic Sedan Build!

Alright My first car was a 2002 SLK 32 AMG - 349 HP

But after the car turned 10 years old (brought it new but i didn't get to drive it till it was 4 years old and my parents upgraded). I decided i need a better everyday car. So i decided to special order a 2013 C300 4matic sport (stupid me forgot to add the lighting package). So i waited 3 months it finally arrived.

i asked if i can add the lighting package a week after i put in the special order. They said i would be pushed back to the end of the line and it would be a additional 2-3 months (on top of the 3 months). So i decided not to wait.

First thing i did was put in clear side markers and 6k LED bulbs. then H7 Diamond Vision bulbs.

It satisfied me for awhile! Then i decided to plasti dip emblems and change the grill, smerc strut bar, spiked front license plate. It helped because in the 2 years i have had this car. i had 1 person reverse into my license plate frame and it put holes into her bumper with no damage to my car.

Alright after 2 years of Modding

The Front!
plasti dipped lower front fascia/DRL chrome/oem grill, Depo c63 style projector headlights with 5k morimoto elite hid kit, oem Illuminated Star (install by the book), spiked license plate, carbon fiber front lip, clear side markers with Azn optics v3 5k LEDs, and Carbon fiber mirror covers.

The Sides!
20% Tints all around (minus windshield), Vinyl wrapped chrome window trim, removed lower chrome trim, and Carbon Fiber rear splitters.

The Back! (with my dad's bentley )
Custom vinyl wrapped tail lights (gloss black on the borders and 2 stripes), Laminex Gunsmoke tints on the reverse light, plasti dipped emblems/trunk chrome, oem c63 rear diffuser, e63 style chrome exhaust tips, and carbon fiber rear roof spoiler.

Performance Mods: (i originally had a xpipe with a muffler delete but drone was just too loud)

Magnaflow xpipe, Smerc Front Strut bar, and Magnaflow Performance Mufflers.

Future Mods -

19 inch (or 18 inch) wheels and Hood strips

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...questions.html

but with these

Wouldn't getting an aftermarket hood that have those things be more cost effective? I know there are companies making metal replicas of the c63 hoods for FL models.

Thoughts on the CF rear splitters?

Easy to put on? Any regret buying them?

No regrets insanely easy to put on. Double sided tape and 3 screws. I like it but bit expensive. I paid $250

If you're planning on getting carbon fiber parts like roof spoiler, rear splitters, front lip. I'd recommend cf diffuser. I regret not getting cf diffuser to match the cf look

YES IT HELPED ALOT. The drone was insane. Afterwards, the exhaust note is more deeper (not ricey). The drone is barely noticeable if you have ANY music on. if the music is completely off then you'll hear it. I totally recommend it. and still loud enough to vibrate stuff in car. I don't remember what magnaflow mufflers I brought because it was 2 years ago.

EDIT: I got (looking at amazon history)

Amazon.com: Magnaflow 11375 Stainless Steel 2.25" Oval Muffler: Automotive Amazon.com: Magnaflow 11375 Stainless Steel 2.25" Oval Muffler: Automotive

but it wasn't this seller.

the mufflers is also ALOT smaller then oem. so there is a lot of room for adjustment if you want to (I mean you are free to put it however way you want). it fit perfectly for me

Dont get the hood strips, they are hard to install so just get the hood itself. (Aluminum not duraflex) Hood is 800 and paint is another 400, its worth it though

So it looks like you installed a single fin grille, and went back because your illuminated star didn't fit. I'm kind of in the same situation. I still have my OEM grille with an illuminated star, but would love a single fin or dual fin, or really any grille with more contrast. I'm having a really hard time finding ANY aftermarket grille that uses an OEM star.

The day after I installed the illuminated star somebody was selling oem 2 fin black grill (used) for $50 on ebay. So I brought it right away. Now I got a back up just in case .

Dang, don't have much storage space left cuz I keep all my oem stuff (after mods) incase if I want to sell the car I can make it back to oem. The big oem mufflers, diffuser, resonator, headlights, multiple sets of grills and clear markers (stupid ebay seller sent me multiple and charged me). And saving space for rims and tires.

sucks when you live with parents.

Also the issue with repainting hood or buying aftermarket hood and repainting is that I'm very OCD with my car. Any imperfections in paint drives me crazy. That's why I don't even have swirl marks. And repainting I want the color match to be perfect and repainting is a hit or miss.

You will have to repaint it anyways, they will sand the whole hood to install those, trust me I was the one who started the thread you have linked, by the way if you want those strips cheap(strait not bent) let me know I have them still ill give them to you for $50 + shipping

At one point I was planning on getting the misha design w204 wide body kit

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/502360-misha-design-photoshoot-mercedes-c-class-wide-body-kit-done-rdb.html?styleid=20

And a bbk kit

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/351077-amg-brake-upgrade-w204-sedans.html

But it's a everyday car and I'm planning on getting a weekend car when the second generation r8 come out on 2016 (crosses finger, just need to convince my dad to spend that much on a Audi) for my wedding present.
