I have a 2008 C300 4matic, every time I go over 40mph theres a weird not normal noise coming from not sure where in the car. Here's a video of me driving 68~ in the freeway, completely smooth road.


I know video is not perfect to demonstrate noise.

Any ideas?

You need to take your car to the dealer immediately. The Transfer Case sounds like it's going out which is a $6k fix if it does.

after hearing transfer case and doing some reading it sounds like i have to replace the whole transmission regardless. i just hope it's not that and something lesser like wheel alignment or something of the sort
