Vibration woes - noob mb owner

Hey guys,
New to the mbworld, I was hoping that you could offer some advice.

I just picked up a used 2011 c350 and I'm loving it!

Shortly after I picked it up, I realized that at 110km/h to 130km/h I was experiencing car vibrations. Naturally I went back to the dealer and he balanced the wheels for me.

Vibrations were reduced significantly, however, I still feel it.

Any thoughts? ****ty tires? Crappy balancing job? Should I take it in to Mercedes dealer (still under warranty)

Thanks for your help!

I'd say the best bet is to take it to the dealer and have them check it out..

Are the vibrations felt in the steering wheel or in the seat/floor? The former would suggest the front wheels, while the latter would likely come from the rear. Find a shop with a Hunter Road Force balancer and let them do the balancing or diagnose the problem with a particular wheel/tires.

thanks guys.. found a hunter machine.. got tested.. all 4 wheels warped! front right has a flat spot.. and back right severely warped. . I contacted the dealer (not mb) and we're making it right..

are these rims susceptible to damage? is it common? or did some along the chain of ownership slap this **** on?

I just recently had to change my front right wheel (of my recently bought '11 c300) because it was bent a bit. Dealer charged me around $480 for it -- warrantly doesn't cover it.

They told me that wheels shouldn't bend or get damaged too easily unless it suddenly hit a curve or ditch. At least.. That's what they think.

I asked for the bent wheel back after they had replaced it with a new one and it looked to me like they tried to straighten it out by hitting it with a blunt or something.

Makes me wonder if the dealer was responsible for the damage while it was getting its services done, because when I bought it, there was no damage to any if the wheels..

to bend a rim.. I think it would take more than just servicing activities.. it has to happen while on the car. I mean to the extent that it can't be balanced.. (not dent. . but flat spot) ur talking major forces at play here
