Grey sealant on new rotors from mbonlineparts.com

Recently received new OEM rotors from mbonlineparts. There's a grey sealant on the entire rotor, do I need to remove this sealant before installation or will leaving the sealant on and having the brake pads wear away at the sealant be a better option? I am afraid of the brake pads not settling properly due to the sealant. Thank you.

no need to remove coating, burns off with first or second stop, no affect on brake bed in.

coating

This coating will prevent rust and will stay on for a long time except where pads contact with rotor

Great choice
