2011 Mercedes Benz C-300
Multi-media question

Hello all,

Hoping you guys can help me out. As many members here, I purchased my first Mercedes Benz less than 6 month ago(2011 MB C300). Little did I know, it did not come with any multi-media package meaning ipod interface, no bluetooth streaming. etc. etc.. Question I have is, what is the best way to upgrade it to have some kind of multi-media functions ? play DVD, GPS, nicer screen, stream music from I-phone. I've searched and there are some aftermarket screens out there, but don't really know if I would have to switch both player and screen or only screen. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

On your comand screen. Go to Audio and click; is there an option for "AUX"?

You can upgrade to the multimedia package if you are willing to spend some money + find a person "know how" (in MB electronic) with DAS system to reset the car setting (let the car know that NOW it has NAVI, CD changer, Ipod....), set the correct geographic region (you are in). Some MB member here did it themself, but have to go to MB dealer for DAS setting. It cost money $. If you need help, shoot me a PM.
