ESP inoperative message & sprint booster

Hi guys !
I accidentaly fixed a problem with my car when "ESP inoperative" and "Run flat indicator disabled" messages appear on dash screen.
As I figured it shows only when I kickdown the gas pedal while steering wheel is slightly turned (almost every overtaking situation).
All I did was remove the SprintBooster since I was selling it.
This may not make any sense to you but my car has no more problems regarding ESP. It may not work for you but it´s not a hard thing to try out...and it definitely fixed mine. Good luck !

This just happened to me as well. I was getting ESP Inoperative messages at high speed (80mph and up) from time to time. Car would go into limp mode and I would have to stick it in neutral to restart it to avoid having to pull over. Anyway, last week I started the car and as soon as I pressed the gas pedal, the car would go in into limp mode "ESP Inoperative" and threw a code. Could not drive it anywhere. Luckily, I had a code reader to check the code. It came back as P2122 which stood for Check potentiometer of component B37 (Accelerator pedal sensor). Hall sensor 1 : Short circuit to ground or open circuit. This led me to think the sprint booster may be causing the problem. I pulled it out and noticed the housing was cracked and the metal pins had dislodged. Now that it is out, I have no ESP Inoperative problems anymore. To think, I have been having ESP Inoperative issues for years and never suspected the Sprint Booster. I do miss the responsiveness it provided when you press the gas pedal but I prefer the car not going into limp mode in the middle of the highway. I also noticed the car runs smoother now as well. Hopefully, this helps some of you guys out there who have been experiencing the same issues.

I know it more pricey, but could you tune the ecu as an alternative?

i remember before getting my sprint booster for the 2008 c350, i had the same issue years back, and was replaced under warranty (sensors or some sh*t).
