I'm interested in buying a nive 4 door sedan and really like the Class C300 the only thing from me pulling the trigger is this steering and EIS Failure stuff that I see all over the internet. I was just wondering what are the old of this really happening. I know Mercs are good cars that's why I want one but this seems to be a big issue.

Can you guys help me out I really want to be part of this community seems pretty awesome from what I've read on other threads.

The 2008-2009 C300 4Matics are more likely to have the ESL/EIS problem, although the data is anecdotal. Rather, keep in mind that maintenance is very expensive on these cars and they are far less reliable than a Lexus. On the plus side they are fun to drive. I suggest paying more for a recent model under warranty.
