So I just replaced my Audio 20 head unit. Here's what I found out in the process.

First, you can put any option MB makes in your car; sirius, Navi, CD changer, etc. but you,ll have to have the dealer code the system to the car and that can get expensive. They can charge what ever they want.

The used head unit from a GLK cost $225. The labor to put it in was $225 (had the shop put a new center vent in and an AMG leather shift knob while everything was taken apart.) Luckily the head unit was from the same year as mine and didn't need to be coded at the dealer. Any other year and it would have had to. I was informed it would be a $300 charge at the dealer.

You need to get the vehicle info from your VIN. You can search on this forum and the best one to use is the russian one and get the info from that website. Then get the model number from the head unit you bought and find out what car it goes into and what options it has. Then it'll prob have to be coded to your car at the dealer.
