I just went to my Walmart... they only had 1 jug... $26 bucks. I grabbed that one... hit a local auto parts store... selling theirs for $35... showed them my receipt from Walmart... boom.. price match!

Wrong info here. I sent in the same Mobil1 promo on March 9 and have not received any rebate back after purchasing 5 qts of synthetic at Walmart. It's been over 2 months. Followed all instructions carefully with receipt and everything.

Walmart is NOT a participating retailer and is exempt from this offer. Just FYI to all members..

Damn things are nice and cheap in the States. I pay $44 for a 5 liter jug of Motul 8100 5W40 and many stores don't sell quart bottles so I have to purchase 2. I've searched tons of stores and all of the major brands like Mobil 1, Liqui Moly, Pentosin, Motul, Total and Castrol Edge are within $1-2 of each other for a 5 liter jug.

2 local MB dealerships want $125 for 9 quarts of Mobil 1 0W40 with an OEM filter. By the time I bought the air filters, oil, Mann oil filter and cabin filter I left the store paying $175 to do my Service A. Good thing you only have to service these cars once a year.
