2010Benz

Last week my left headlight low beam warning came on and obviously the headlight went out. I tried to change to a new bulb and it didnt work. 2 days later the same thing happened to the right so again i tried to switch to a new bulb and it didnt work. On a side note both high beams work. Can anyone give me suggestions? Thank you
