Should I lower 2008 C350?
The car is getting old but with the newer wheels a slight drop would make it look a lot better. I was planning on H&R Sports 1.2" drop only i know this would affect longevity of the shocks which I hope to not have to replace as I'll likely sell the car in a year.
Also I'm running +38 front and +44 rear offsets and 225 front and 255 rear tires that don't rub but worried they might with the drop...is anybody running this set up with a drop?
Finally, I'm considering Meisterschaft race exhaust but would only pull the plug if I would hear a noticeable improvement as it costs so much. I've heard some sound clips and it sounds good revving but I don't drive hard/fast so I'm thinking it would be a waste of money for me?
Thanks!

You just said you were going to sell in a year. Why put any more money into it? Any mods you do now will simply devalue the car more when it comes time to sell.

Yes but I have some extra cash and this will keep my interest in the car which I still do enjoy. Might even be over a year, all depends on my next ride. I know I'll take a big loss but will likely part out all aftermarket stuff as I'll be trading it in.

So if you do the drop as planned and sell the car, who pays to replace the shocks you knowingly and prematurely destroyed?
