H&R

Just ordered some H&R sport for my 4matic Lux and was wondering if anyone knows or has a similar setup if i should also purchase the 5mm rear pads since the Lux sits so high?

I think from what I have seen most recommend the shorter shim pads with the sport springs to get a decent drop out of the rear. However you are also on lux springs so the specified drop from the application site should be accurate.

I actually like the even gap on my SS springs with stock pads.

Im probably going to be doing this project over the weekend and was wondering is the process basically the same for the 4matics compared to rwd? or is there a load of crap to get involved with...

Install should the same.. Just make sure you have a extra floor jack and extra pair of hands to assist with the rear spring install. FYI.. On my wife's c300 4matic sport, I ordered the H&R SuperSports and so far, the drop ~ 3/4" lower than before..
