Rear shocks replacement DIY?
Has anyone replaced the rear shocks on their W204? I'm looking for any info prior to tackling the job in case there's anything special needed for the job.
I've done a few shocks/struts replacements and did my front springs my self, but took it to in it to have the rear springs done as I was short on time, so I'm not familiar with the setup.
I would think the springs don't need to come off as they're separate from the shocks assembly. The chassis mount points, are they accessible from the trunk or does the rear deck need to come off from the inside?
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

You can start with this lowering spring install DIY to get an idea...

I lowering my wife's c300 sport this past weekend the rear shock looks comes out very easily on the spindle. However, I think the top shock mount bolts/nuts are only accessible from inside the vehicle.
