I have a used Becker Map-Pilot for sale. It is basically a navigation for any new Mercedes that has the already pre-installed wiring for the unit. It is all plug and play, works just as good as the built in navigation. You can get free map and software updates directly from Becker's website. Comes with box, cable and manual. Great buy for someone who does not want to spend the $3000 on the navigation package.

I am not buying this, but to save others from the insane problem I had to deal with before, this comes with a working battery, correct?

The navigation works perfectly fine. There are no issues with the rechargeable battery that is in the unit. I've had the map-pilot for about a year.

Anyone know know if this will work with a 2008 C350? I cant get a straight answer from Google LOL

I don't think so. This Becker map thing didn't start until 2013 I think. And it requires to be pre-wired.
