Trade in & Buying a new car; whats your advice?

I am planning on getting rid of my current car found here:

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5090288814.html

What do you think i can expect to receive trading this in at the dealer? KBB says trade in value is anywhere from $10.5k - $11.5k, and private sale from $11k - $13k

I am also planning on purchasing this car found here:

http://www.prestigemb.com/used/2014/...gf8ab6eg189074

Do you think this car is a priced fairly? What would you expect to pay for this car and trading in?

Thanks for your help in advance, this is the first time I'm going through a dealer (instead of a car auction) to purchase my new car, and would like as much advice before i go to the dealer.

2012 C300 4Matic Sport Sedan
a lot of people say don't get 4matic as it costs more to maintain and things can go wrong but i've seen all the issues with 2008-2011 and very little on the 2012+. also if your doing mods like lowering it it will cost like 3000$ just because its 4matic.

I would say go to a few dealers see the best possible deal you can get. It was weird I went to one that was corporate and got a way better deal than the non-corporate dealer.

also make sure the car has want you want and what you can live with out i'd say get the upgraded stereo as it costs a lot to get an aftermarket one installed sport/amg package is always a plus.

take your time test drive it for a long time and MAKE SURE YOU get one with maintenance records! and buy the pre paid maintenance it will save you in the long run.

Cant say much for pricing as i'm in Canada so its a lot different than US.
