US C300 Luxury vs Sport brake difference?

Hello,

I have a 2011 C300 Luxury that probably needs a brake job now. I received the message about checking brake pads. I searched the forums as well as google, and there seems to be a lot of mix info about differences in brakes between the two.
Before I start ordering parts, I have a few questions:

Are the brake rotors the same dimensions between the Luxury and Sport C300 models? I know the Sport version consists of slotted rotors. If they're the same dimensions, the Luxury should be able to use the Sport slotted rotors?
The reason I asked is because the online vendors seem to sell the same brake pads part for both Sport/Luxury, so I am assuming that the calipers and rotors are the same dimensions. If that is the case, I will probably order the Sport rotors for my Luxury model.

For the W204, are rotors usually replaced when one set of pads wear down to the sensor? Or are they okay to be re-surfaced / or Pads only change?

What do you recommend in terms of brand? I am looking at Zimmermann Coat Z for the rotors, if not OEM. OEM is about $10-$20 more per disc.
For pads, I would like to go with Ceramics, to avoid dust. Bosch, Textar or Akebono.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I remember, the parts are the same save for the rotor style difference. They are drilled not slotted btw. The calipers were the same except sport models got a "fancy" MB sticker on the caliper face.

Thanks for that info. That's good to know, but I'll probably just end up with the regular rotors. It's seems the slotted/drilled rotors are mainly for looks since I don't take the car to the track or anything, regular ones would be just fine. In fact, pads would last longer with the regular rotor.
