Aftermarket Nav possible for my 2014 C300?
I recently purchased a used 2014 C300 and I am having a very difficult time figuring out if I can add an aftermarket navigation system to the car.
I currently have the stock 5.8" nav system but I would love to add something like this:
Pioneer AVIC 8100NEX
Or as a secondary option:
Kenwood Excelon DNN992
It doesn't seem like the compatibility is listed anywhere. I guess I could call Crutchfield support but all of their listings say "fit unknown" for my year/model.
Has anyone successfully installed either of these navs in their c300? Or if not, do any of you have other aftermarket nav recommendations that would be a good idea for me to look into.
Thanks!

i think if you send the 3000$ extra for navi you keep it hahaha because replacing it will probably cost 3000$ unless you know how to do it yourself.

I got a good price on the car so I'm okay with spending some money on a better nav. If you have other cheaper aftermarket nav options for me to look at I'm open to looking at them.
The reasons why I don't love the stock nav is the voice detection isn't that good and the screen is abit too small.

to be honest I would call a custom audio shop with very high credentials and ask them what can be done. i know if i was to upgrade and get navi i would have to get the whole speedometer set up as well.
but honestly I have yet to see anyone upgrade the facelift navi screen. your honestly probably the first if you go though with it. if you do post how it goes and the process if others want to do the same because I've seen people ask before but once they heard it would be pricy they didn't go though with it and even find out it was possible.

Are you willing to take the huge hit on resale value of your car down the road? If you ar, then I'm sure someone will be able to hack it up in there, but considering all the features the OEM nav has already build in, that you'll lose just to gain a bigger screen (cutting the bezel ?) and better voice command ? Is that really worth it?
