Where to get cosmetic parts?

Hello,

I just got a w204 (first car I own). I consider personalizing its look a little bit. For instance, I would like to change the grill to black and get darker bumper lights. But I feel it's a jungle to figure out to what is quality and what is not.

Is there a brand or a website you can recommend where I can get these things? Should I have a MB dealer to install it or can I use any mechanics?

Thanks.

I've got a few stuff from: http://www.jbspeed.com/mercedes/ . They have pretty good shipping time and they're color match is spot on.

Go through all the picture threads and get inspiration. Try to get a total package in your head on how you want it to look, then execute. Otherwise you'll have a mismatched mix of regret. For your grill, you can easily take your stock one and just get it painted. All body shops can take care of this for you. Plasti-dip is also an option. Another thing you can do is vinyl wrap it. My favorite I had on mine was two tone black with offsetting matte and gloss:

Also, if you're every thinking of upgrading your lighting to cleaner whiter lighting, let us know and we can set you up. Eyebrows and rear plates are pretty standard, but low beams, fogs, signals, reverse, interior, sidemarkers are all options as well

This is my first car as well. I blacked out most of my car using plasti-dip and vinyle. The exterior beside the door trim has plasti-dip for a year now, went through all types of weather(ny here) it's been holding on quite strong and the vinyle on the headlights and back lights(no pics but it has a reverse light cutout, its not covered, found it on ebay)if u want to go through the cheaper route. The interior, I also use plasti dip on the door panels plus the middle console and vinyle on the lights. Here are the exterior pics, I changed the parking lights to blue as well. I don't have pics of the inside to show...we on the same boat, I want to do more lol enjoy your first car

Black plasti-dip grill, plasti-dip door trim, light black vinyl headlights, vinyl side mirror light

Light side marker with white-bluish lights

All I can say is that eBay is going to be your best friend for little cosmetic pieces. Side markers, tail lights, grills, etc. Just search W204 plus whatever you want.

Cheapest place is aliexpress. Kinda like chinese ebay. Just cuts out the middle men on the vast majority of stuff you see.
