Driver Door Lock...
Hello guys, all of the sudden and out of nowhere I am having a hard time with my driver's door lock. It's a 2010 and it was locking fine all four doors immediately as I started driving or when locking it with the remote. Yesterday I noticed that as soon as I started driving all locks activate except mine (driver's), I pushed the door panel (lock) button and it did "kinda lock" halfway, re-opened and re-press the locking button on the door again and it did close. It got worse to the point that this morning all doors opened except the driver's!!!
I had to use the key insert in order to open the door and lock it!!! Now it will NOT open or close neither with the remote or by pressing the lock button on the door. I will certainly appreciate your suggestions and experience regarding this problem.
Thanks in advance to all who stop and leave some feedback/comments.
Kindest Regards,
Vickon

Out Of Control!!
However you can access the car via the passanger side(via remote) correct-----and then you are able to open the drivers side via the door latch---if I am correct---you have a faulty door lock accuator!!-----remove the door cover and all will be clear

Door actuator...
Hi Plutoe, thanks for your advice/comment. I was hoping this to be somehow an easier fix but I was almost sure that it was the motor/actuator since it doesn't even sound like working or trying. Now my concern is that I have NEVER removed a Mercedes door panel and have NO idea where the clips are (if holded by clips) or if there is a special way to remove them without breaking any tabs/clips. If someone can help/assist sending me tips to remove the driver's door panel I will certainly appreciate it!!!
Thank you again Plutoe!

Do a search you will be amazed at what is out there----you will see the tools, how to identify the part and techniques--plus purchase extra plastic clips as you will damage some
