Nice LED side marker with turn signal
I came across these from a manufacturer in Taiwan, would anyone be interested to get a group by on this? It is currently not sold in North America, but I believe with enough quantity, they will be willing to sell them here.

Price range I was told to be around $200

There doesn't seem to be much interest in new sidemarker designs from W204 owners. I've tried seeing if there was interest for a new sidemarker for the pre-facelift and I got a whopping turnout of 2 people over the course of a month.

The swoosh doesn't bother me that much, but I could do without it as well. However, my concern lies with making sure it syncs with the turn signals properly. The video below shows it blinking out of sync with the car's blinker.

The chrome piece is sort of weird. I think I would still be interested though. They look better than what I have.
Also, I don't think you will have a syncing issue with LED signals. The halogen signals take longer to illuminate than an LED signal because of the time it takes the filament to heat.
But if you're still running halogens, you should replace those way before you even touch your side markers. IMO

I agree about getting rid of the halogens. I was told the most OEM would be the Morimotto Mini D2S kit, I plan on doing that and the side markers at the same time. So will that fix the sync issue?

I would think so. The only way I can see this setup working is if the sidemarker splices the LED wire in the headlight cable harness in some way, so it's likely getting power from the same source. And the LED signals are quick, they instantly turn on up to full brightness without the halogen ramp up.
I don't think you will have an issue.

I have asked the manufacturer regarding synchronization of the sidemarker and turn signal. They have confirmed that it will be synchronized. They have also sent me a video.
For the group buy we'll be looking for 10.
Please let me know if you are interested and I'll update the group buy list on the first post.
$180 does not include shipping, but if we have 10+, I'm pretty sure they are willing to throw in free shipping for us.
