Help! 09 C300 Driver's side window
Tonight when I was driving home from my sister's house, my drivers side window was acting weird. I had gone to open it because even in cold weather I like a little fresh air every now and then. My window went down automatically just fine, but coming back up I had to hold the button to get it to go up. Once it was fully up, I let go of the button and the window dropped about 1/4 of an inch. Has anyone else had this issue? Could it be the fact that the high today was 45F and when I was driving my car was telling me it was 36F or could something actually be wrong? BTW, my car sat outside in this weather (in my sister's driveway) for about 8 1/2 hours.

DO A WINDOW RESET
TURN IGNITION KEY ALL THE WAY ON WITH OUT STARTING VEHICLE.
NOW PUT YOUR FINGER ON THE WINDOW SWITCH
NOW SLIGHTLY HOLD IT IN THE FIRST POSITION UNTILL YOU HERE IT CLICKING QUICKLY.
WHEN YOU DO HERE IT CLICK THAT WINDOW IS NOW IN RESET MODE.
YOU CAN DO ALL OTHER SWITCHES ALSO IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE RESET OF ALL WINDOWS.
MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PULL UP ON THE SWITCH YOU PULL UP FOR SINGLE PULL NOT FULL PULL FOR AUTO.

Battery? I wonder if a failing battery could have made the window lose it's adaption? Modern cars can get all wonky when there are power issues. In which case the adjustment procedure should fix the problem.

UPDATE:
Sunday night my window was all funky and not working. By 8:30 Monday morning my car was dead. By dead, I mean my steering wheel was locked and the car wouldn't turn on. The car wound up being towed to my local dealer who determined it was the ignition lock. Long story short, my window is fixed, but I'm not sure if it had something to do with the fact that my ignition lock crapped out or if the tech at MB tried my window, realized it wasn't working right and fixed it. I didn't notice anything about it on the work order so I can't say for sure.
