Sidewall tire ripped
The sidewall of my front tire ripped due to curb damage and I was wondering if I should replace both the front tires or will I be fine just replacing the damaged tire with exact brand? I did the penny test and the wear on both of the front tires is 'at the bridge of the Lincoln's nose'.
-Any good sites to order tires from?

If the tires are worn, I'd recommend replacing both. If they were new (under a couple thousand miles), I'd replace just the damaged one.
I spent about 8 or 9 years working in tire shops in the eighties and nineties, so my recommendations are based on experience, rather than personal opinion, of which you will receive plenty. It's always best to replace tires in pairs (at least) when there is appreciable wear.
Tire rack dot com is a great source for tires, although you might want to give your local retailers a chance to compete.

Ok I will go with Tire Rack, will the recommended installer promise to follow the quoted installation price on Tire Rack? I read some reviews when people stated the installer quoted higher price than Tire rack site.

or take it to a quick tire repair shop. usually they will give you a really good prices on mounting and balancing.
I paid 40.00 dollars for mounting and high speed balancing on 2 snow tires.
but this is NY so it might be cheaper where you live.

I've used TireRack a number of times, using one particular installer near me. Each time, after I place my order at TireRack, I call the installer to remind him who I am, and that my tires are on the way. At that time, I verify the prices, because it is possible that the TireRack web site is not current. They do their best to vet installers, but they do not constantly monitor pricing to ensure that their web site is current.
