Need advice on buying a used C220 CDI

I'm looking at two pretty much identical cars spec-wise, but I need advice on which one I shud go for. I'll let someone professional test the car that I decide to buy. One of the cars have had three owners and is imported, while the other car only have had two owners where the last owner had it only for one year. I added some pictures, but can post more if needed.

Option 1:

2008 model
Halogen
Leather
Alarm
Parktronic
Heated seats
Comand, navigation
Panorama roof
109,000 km (67,700 miles)
Imported from Germany
Three owners, all had the car for 3 years each
Full service history

Price: 22,000 USD

Option 2:

2008 model
Bi-xenon
Comand, navigation
Alarm
Parktronic
Heated seats
Panorama roof
123,000 km (76,400 miles)
Two owners, last owner had it from november 2014 until now
Not imported
Full service history

Price: 23,100 USD

Both of them looks very good with no scratches or dents. No strange noises. They are both many hours away so I have not had the chance to look at them personally yet, is there anything I should look into that I have not mentioned?

I always like to speak to the previous owners if at all possible.

Why did they sell ?,

Did they have an accident ?

Have any problems with the car ? ie has the EIS been replaced ( a common issue on this site with 2008's)

How was the car driven ? ie thrashed by a teenager or coddled by a granny?

Are they country miles ( preferred) or inner city driving?. How often have the break pads been changed? ( less in the country)

Why be bashful?

The other main thing is to check whether the service record is correct. Did they drain the auto torque converter or just do a slack job . This is very important when considering the life of the ATM.

When buying a MB the ultimate is having one built in Germany ( just my personal view)

Best to not be in a hurry, plan it all & let the heat go out of the prospective sale before making a decision ie sleep on it. . It will lessen the chances of buyers remorse.

I have a 2007 & love every minute driving it , economical, responsive & a good balance of comfort & handling. You will love the diesel torque. Absolutely no problems in 8 years ( touch wood)

And the very best of luck with it all. Be sure to let us know how it goes.

Thanks for a thorough answers Carsy!

I think I'll go for a newer model with less accessories, but I'm still looking for a car.
