keeping OBDII BT reader plugged in
Anyone with an OBDII bluetooth adpater keep theirs plugged in for an extended amount of time? I've read it's ok if the car is driven every day as the power draw should be low.

You can if you want. I've left mine in for roughly a week (had forgotten about it) but only driven one day. The car started up without problems. Some of the adapters take so little power, it's about like a 1-3W bulb being left on.

Thanks, I figured it should be ok. There are also those devices the insurance companies use and that Verizon sells for cars.
I just want to run logs for a bit to get some baseline numbers for future comparison.

The one I've been using hasn't been unplugged from my car in months other than to plug in my SDConnect , to the point that I've actually completely removed the plastic flap for the OBD port. It has a built in auto-off feature which is nice, I don't have to worry about leaving it in for extended periods.
