2012-2014 C300 HID KIT
Hi,
I recently bought a 2014 C300 4Matic w/ Halogen headlight. Not much on YouTube about HID Kit for this car. What do I buy to make the HID KIT plug and play without warning lights. If there is a thread on this topic, please paste below and i will delete this thread. Thanks!

They offer....
Bulb Temp: i chose 5k
HID KIT Wattage: I would choose Galaxy Series (since it's brightest)
Warning Cancellers / Capacitors: ?? i guess this cancels the warning light if there was a dead bulb. ( yes i would buy since i dont want warning lights )
Power Relay Harness / Anti-Flicker: Not sure what this is (please do tell me more of it)
Spare Bulb: no comment
So my question, if i buy this would it work properly?

You'll want an H7 HID kit that's canbus enabled. We carry top end Morimoto HID conversion kits if interested. Plug and play with a 5 year warranty.

Hey Azn Optic,
I want a 5k, 55watts. I don't know a lot of HID but I think 55 watts would output brighter than 35 watts.... If you could paste your link/merchandise on this thread. I greatly appreciate it. Or closest setup. Btw mine is a halogen.

Let me provide some info first before you decide. It is true that 55w is slightly brighter than 35w, but 35w burns cooler and has a longer lifespan. We normally stock 35w as that's what most of our customers prefer, so 55w would ship directly from our warehouse, but we can support you with whichever you prefer

Plus the 35 watt never got as hot and lasted longer in my case.

The examples for the LED bulbs I've seen also seem to show reduced visibility and odd beam patterns. I'm going to stick to xenons in OEM color temps when I upgrade to a projector housing.

LEDs are ideal for indication type lighting (signals, parking lights, etc) or short throw lighting (rear plate, interior, etc). For forward projecting lights in housing not designed to capture LED surface mounted light spread, it's not advisable as you end up with reduced throw distance, uneven lighting, and light scatter. HIDs are the more preferred option.
