I absolutely love these things....
I want them... If I could find a way to hide the rails, I'd already have them.
An old member who's moved on to an M3 had them.. EuroJDMBenzo

I like your car and you are very helpful on the forum so please for the love of all that is holy do NOT put curtains on your car. You do that and we will have to pick on you relentlessly.

Although I will say I like the idea of curtains a lot more than a limo tint! (which I like too)
And I would hope you would pick on me! It would be quite funny!!!

You guys with projector puddle need to be careful when cleaning your car. If you wipe the underside of the projector eye you will damage the sticker that creates the Mercedes symbol and will need a replacement. Tell me how I know, the car wash wiped it and now my driver side has a haze on the symbol.

Ok. Went ahead and did it. Super easy.
Use a small flat head screwdriver under the lamp itself and pry gently. Work it out from both sides. The lens may pop off just use the small screwdriver in the actual unit. Disconnect the light bulb. Get new unit and put the light on it. The it just snaps back in place.

My coupe was plugged in. Your car is similar to mine. The light should come on when the door is open. Does it?
#67
No, it doesn't.
I just removed the passenger side and same thing. Light and everything is there but nothing plugged into it.
I also looked inside the opening and nothing is hanging or hiding.
Puzzling for sure.

That's very strange. It's a small black male plug you can see it in one of my pics. Get a small mirror and a bright flashlight. Stick the mirror in the cavity where the light goes and shine your flashlight to see if you can see it. It makes 0 sense that you have the light but not the wires

Have to agree with Josh. It has to be there. It would actually cost more for Mercedes to not do it as they do it for every car.

I can't see them leaving it out... Especially on an Edition 1.
They actually consider them a safety feature so I doubt they'd leave it out.

Ok. Got my shifter paddle extensions.
They look good. Fitment is good but there is a little gap. They are on straight. Sun was shining in the door and it makes it look a little wonky
