//OFFICIAL: Random Product Discussion Thread\\
Let's talk about random car products we find on the internet!
Can be either serious or funny.
I'll start;
I want to turn my c300 into a c63 amg black soo, I found this wing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-17cm-Min...pXedOm&vxp=mtr
10/10 willing to buy, carbon fiber and cheap, the grip I get from this, whoa, I can't even begin to explain...

Saw these, they look decent.
Not sure if I'd be willing to put them on mine though.

I put them on mine. Got the brushed ones. Looks way better than the black plastic ones. Takes 37 seconds to put them on 45 seconds if you are slow

I would only put the silver caps on if I wrapped my trim in carbon fiber. They definitely don't match the wood xD
My worry too is that they will "feel" cheap...
As for the step lights, where are you buying them? Link?
They look pretty cool and there is a diy on here for them too.

I have the wood trim. The brushed aluminum seat caps actually match my door handle perfectly so it's not out of place with the wood. Wish I had the aluminum trim

Well I'm looking into doing the carbon fiber trim anyway. Thank you for your response though, I can see it working now.

Atlas,
xEryx I believe just wrapped all his trim in brushed aluminium style vinyl... Looks VERY nice... On a previous thread somewhere, I will see if I can dig it up!

Found this wrap:
Not sure if its a good deal, but the quality and reviews seem good. Can also find gloss black/other CF colors.

Have you used this specific product, 3M, or other brand?
It seems that quality wise this and 3M are the same, but 3M lasts longer and is more expensive.
I'd also consider doing a roof wrap, but I can barely put on an iphone screen protector without getting bubbles, so idk if I'm quite ready for that yet.

I have not, but 3M is definitely the best and a must if you are looking to get years out of the project. Honestly Roof would be so easy because you don't have to hold the roof and the wrap like you do with the trim. While wrapping trims by yourself you only have two hand to do a 3-4 hand job so you have to compromise and lay the wrap without having a good grip on the trim.
