40k mile service

What's up guys I just got my 2010 c300 and it has 32k miles on it right now. I've been looking up the service at 40k miles and it says that I need a transmission service, break fluid change and a few other things. I was just wondering can I go to the dealer just to just do the tranny service and break service? I switched from Infiniti to Benz and so far it's the best decision of my life and I want to keep my car running as perfect as possible for as long as possible so any info on the service requirements would be greatly appreciated. I can do oil changes and stuff like that by myself and I'm willing to learn to do other things also because I don't want to take it to the dealer to do anything knowing they change you insane prices and my car isn't under warranty because I bought it used form a different place. Anyway thank you for any info provided I appreciate it 👍🏻👍🏻

Just got 70k trans service and it cost $425 at dealer. Pricey but they have machines at dealer that cleans trans. I would go with dealer cuz when it comes to trans you gotta do it right.

yeah I figured I should just take it to dealer for all big things like that. It's probably more expensive but it'll be worth it for the life of the car. Thanks bro

Tris, Use the Search section on this forum & you will find plenty of useful service info especially on the intricacies of flushing your ATM. Just make sure you flush or drain your torque convertor. Some slack dealers do not do this.
There is also a US MB web site where you can download how to service procedures. Some one else may be able to give you the web address. I don't think it is very expensive.

not necessarily, when it comes to expensive maintenance and fixes, instead of getting my butt hole resized, I go to a specialized Mercedes shop. My specific shop is run by a former mercedes mechanic. An example, the dealership was going to charge me $250 for a brake flush, the guy did it for me for $81. You just got to do your research before you get it done.

Andy, I could not agree more (with your words in Bold Face).

Any special deals with the dealer instructions? I remember people could get smells removed from their car for free with a pdf

They offer a lot of coupons. While its not much they printed me a $25 off coupon at the dealership. While I agree with indy shops for price when it comes to trans i go to dealership.
