Rear Knocking sound on 6speed manual c180
Hi guys I have a 2009 c180k the 6 speed manual and when ever I pull away or shift gears too quick I have a rear knocking sound. I'm not sure if it is the diff but it is very annoying does anyone have any idea?

The only way to find out is to raise the vehicle & do an inspection.
I would pay special attention to the shock absorbers ( leaking) or whether the exhaust system is touching something . Suspension linkages could we worn.

thanks I will do that this weekend and see if there is anything that looks out of sorts hopefully nothing too costly has gone. Will let you know as soon as I have had a look.
