Rear Signal warning sign but signal still working
Just yesterday when I was driving the car the rear right turn signal warning came up telling me it was not working. When I reached home I checked and it was still working, turned the car off then back on and the sign went away. But the next day same thing happened and the signal was still working. Does anyone know what this means? Is the signal not working for a split second and triggering the warning then working again? I have a pre facelift c300 with the LED turn signals.

I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I popped out the bulb and noticed the glass had a brownish tint. I suspect the bulb was probably on its last legs. Replaced the bulb and the message never re-appeared. I went ahead and replaced the bulbs on both sides since if one was failing then the other one is probably not far behind.

Early signs of a melting connector. Check these two threads:

I had to change the right rear. The light output was pior as compared to the other side. And i even added another Wire from nearby negative to the bulb holder.
Did the trick!!

I had the recall done in 2014, and my plug started showing signs of melting a couple months ago, and last week, it completely melted and is now non-functional. I have parts on order to do the repair myself. I think they just replaced the old parts with the same old parts but didn't do anything to fix the issue. That's the impression I received from the two threads I posted, too.
