Star Diamond Custom-Fit Winter Floor Mats Review
So I'd heard mixed reviews on the WeatherTech mats for the W204 with regards to fitment, plus they're ~$200. The OEM ones fit well, but don't cover the full dead pedal. I decided to try these that I found on Amazon, as they cover the full dead pedal and are $129.99 (not affiliated, blah, blah, blah):

These things appear to be VERY heavy-duty. Shipping weight was 20lbs. Think they're made in Taiwan, though they shipped from CA, so shipping was reasonably quick to me in NH.
Fitment is very good. They (obviously) use the factory retaining clips on the drivers side. They do a good job covering the full dead pedal, and have a decent 1" lip all around them to retain water/snow/mud. The only very minor issue was that on the front seats, the lip on the backside of the mats protrudes just enough that you lose about 1/2" of ability to move the seat forward. So if you have REALLY short legs, and NEED the seats all the way forward, these will interfere slightly.
They do have a very slight rubber smell. The finish on them is matte, and they seem to do a very good job of resisting slipping feet when wet. Haven't had more than a dusting here in southern NH yet, but if I find some fault with them after the snow starts flying, I'll post up.

They look nice and the price is good.
FWIW I have WT liners in my c63 and my wife's c300. The WT liners go up higher on the sides (for the fronts), which helps keep the salt/sand off the carpet.
May not be an issue where you live, but with the WT liners, when you remove them the carpet looks pristine.
