Lease turn-in - tire standards?
About to turn our third lease with MB - C250 that has $7k negative equity - no brainer! (Plus, wife wants a convertible so I'm gonna go the used/CPO route for that)
It's in great shape but one thing I will need to replace is the rear tires.
Do I need to get a specific type of tire that matches the front or can I just put basically any tire that fits the rear? A guy I spoke with at Mercedes parts at a dealer near me says they'll pretty much take anything if they're the right size. For some reason I find this hard to believe?
Just wanted to make sure and avoid a nasty bill after I turn it in. Anyone have experience with this?

I'd go with the same ones but my OCD type tendencies would not let me do otherwise.
I am the kind of guy that straightens pictures hanging in other people's houses so for sure I'd have to go with the same ones.
