Pre maintenance package question

Recently purchased my Mercedes with 45,000 miles and it's due for service b3

Ive searched the forums and called up a few dealers in my area to confirm pricing. 2 prices which i kept coming up with.. 950 2 packages 3 packages 1250.

I plan on keeping the vehicle well over four years.. should i stuck with the 2 service package or go with 3. ? Just dont want to over pay as its not refundable.

Look up your maintenance schedule to ascertain services required in the next 2/3 services. This will help you see the cost of each service vs how much you will be paying for these in PPM. Generally, PPM wins if you have B/A/B (vs paying for the same at the dealer individually). Also there is no hassle / worry about the cost (which tends to vary by the dealer) if you get a PPM.

Yea i suppose i should do the 1275 package as im reaching 50k very soon. I plan on keeping the car for awhile.

Would brake pads and rotors be covered under either a or b? In the Manuel i keep seeing "inspection" nothing about replacing

No, these are considered normal "wear and tear" items. PPM only covers "required maintenance" items.

Hmm looks like ill have to look into the extended warranties.

So basically the ppm is oil changes, flushes and "inspections" 🤔

Does the PP maintenance still cover the spark plugs for the M276 @ 60k or the transmission service at 70k? It seems like their website indicates transmission servicing is only covered on 2015 and up.

As all services under "Required" category are covered, so, both of the above will be (as these are listed as such for MY2014). Depending where you get the service done, dealer may do more than what is listed (with or without charge). So pay attention when your order is being written.
