Very nice but does the standard screen fit well with piano black trim?and is the piano black scratch resistant

This standard screen do fit well with this AMG trim that I have and the piano black dosen't seem very scratch resisstant but only time will tell. It really shines and looks nice though!

Congratulations, beautiful car.
No, the piano black is not scratch resistant, but keep a very soft and fluffy microfiber towel in the car. The type you remove wax with. It works wonders on the dust.

Damn... Your ride is sweet! I wish MB would black out the chrome pieces. I think it fits the lux model but seems a bit out of place for the sport of AMG versions.

Looks great . I got polar white too. It arrives august 12th, but if I wait till September 1st I can reg it with a newer number plate. Decisions decisions!!

(In the uk the number plate year changes every 6 months)

I've just ordered my new C Class AMG in Polar White and have been having my doubts about the colour....should I go for white? should I have gone for diamond white instead of Polar? Your car looks really cool... can't wait now!

I've been told by my dealer that the Polar White is the whitest of all colors but if you want pearl effect then you have to upgrade to diamond white bright. I personally love the Polar White color!

Polar white definitely looks whiter. Diamond white has metallic flakes which apparently shine in the sun. I've seen both at the dealership (on other Mercedes though) and because white is so bright in the sun anyway you can't notice those flakes. Also diamond white looks like a creamy colour next to polar white. Nearly all the cars in reviews, the detroit motor show and their adverts are actually in polar white.

I personally went for polar white, but because my C220 order is so delayed i'm about to cancel it and pick up a stock C250 in diamond white (the only one I can find with spec I want).

I short I prefer polar white, and it's cheaper, but diamond white isn't too bad either.

White shines...but black does really look nice when clean. I ordered the polar white...I currently have a black car and will never get black again...it's a PIA to keep it shining...

If I have to chose white I definately would have went for diamond as it looks way more exclusive.


I think its better to have a color that no other brand has, to distinguish the car from all the grayscales.
