Love the car. I was thinking of the 19's but the salesman told me they degraded the ride. Do you find this? Also, there seems to be two base colours for the AMG wheels, a black and a silver. Do you know how or when it varies? Is it dependant/matched to the body colour?

What about the lowering? Is that a software mod?

Citrine Brown is unfortunately not available in the US.
Wheels are Vossen CVT gloss graphite 8,5x20 ET44 and 10x20 ET55


Lowering is done with adjustable links and fine tuning through diagnosis computer.

Citrine is available. It is just called Dakota Brown. The same way that Tennorite becomes Steel Gray. No clue why the changed names, but the color codes are the same.

I'm actually not in the US, but the UK. Down in Wiltshire actually. I looked at the Netherlands configurator and you guys get stacks of choice! More colours, wheels, the lot!

Ohh, I just spontaneously bought a C 220 Diesel Estate with AMG-package. And I'm gonna pick it up in 1 week, wanted to order one, but it was about 5 months away. And I found this new at a store. Cant wait till next week...

It is. I haven't had chance to get good shots of it yet sadly. One shot I did try, as the car is so shiny the camera couldn't cope with the reflection from the sun and just went all foggy.

That is lovely. Personally, I'd be worried about some spotty little herbert touching my car in the showroom. Did they put a cover on it?

lol, there was another handover before mine. I saw mine being washed as I arrived and while I waited they brought the car straight in and took me over to it. I wasn't bothered about the cover on thing as there was no point.

There are a few finger marks etc in it, hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to do at least an interior super-clean and add in some protection courtesy of AutoBrite cleaners and Gyeon FabricCoat/LeatherCoat. Once the weather improves it will get a full Meguiars machine polish to remove any swirls or holograms, then GYEON CanCoat Sealant application followed by AutoFinesse Illusion wax and finally Gyeon WetCoat to have it shinier than factory. All of which should see me through until the end of summer and form a very good fresh paint seal for the future. I'll top that out with HellShine Abyss sealant on any rubber and plastics and then a Gtechniq G5 glass sealant.

If I make the effort now on all that, it should preserve the car nicely going forwards and make keeping it nice that much easier.

Thanks. The sun's been out today, the colour is everything I thought it would be, it really lights up in the sun. I've not looked at the tyres yet, I'll have a look later.
